Head Men's Basketball Coach - Athletic Director

Coach Aaron Tribbey is entering his 13th year as the Head Coach of Middle Georgia Prep and 17th overall year as a basketball coach. In his time as a Head Coach, he has compiled a record of 398-81, which includes a 31-3 record while finishing the season ranked 13th in the nation this past 2024-2025 season. Coach Tribbey has led his teams to impressive feats including the 2017 NACA National Championship, 2018 USA Nationals Prep Championship, 2018 Post-Grad State Championship, and the 2019 IMG Beach Blast Championship. Individually, Coach Tribbey was awarded the 2018 NACA Prep Most Outstanding Coach Award. Coach Tribbey specializes in skill development for all positions and has sent over 150+ players to play college basketball at the D1, D2, NAIA and JUCO level. Coach Tribbey had this to say about his program: 'Middle Georgia Prep is a special place designed to help young men develop on and off the court. I think we have created an environment that fosters success for our guys at the next level. Accountability and consistency is the foundation of our program and it will continue to be that way in the future. I feel extremely fortunate to play a role in the lives of these young men in the pursuit of their dreams.'

Sheldon Hendrix

Associate Head Coach - Recruiting Coordinator

Coach Sheldon Hendrix is entering his fifth year of coaching, during which he has helped lead his team to its first-ever national ranking, including a spot inside the Top 10, and has contributed to the development of over 20 Division I and II athletes. He specializes in recruiting, player skill development, and statistical management, bringing a well-rounded approach to team success. As a former college basketball player, Coach Hendrix competed at South Georgia State College, where he won a regular season championship, and at Thomas University, where he set the school record for most assists in a single game. Academically, he holds three degrees: an A.S. in Psychology, an A.A. in Education, and a B.S. in Psychology. He is currently pursuing his M.B.A. in Sports Business at Grand Canyon University. Grounded in faith and purpose, Coach Hendrix is dedicated to using his basketball journey to impact and enrich the lives of the student-athletes he coaches.
